Bhutan is know to many for its development philosophy of Gross National Happiness. This philosophy proclaims that Gross National Happiness is more important than Gross National Product. It argues that it is important to grow materially but this growth should be able to give happiness to people. It underscoers the importance of striking a balance between materialism and spiritualism and not to be too engrossed in excessive economic development. It is a unique development philosophy. Tenzin Thinley is alredy the grand oldman of tour guiding in Bhutan. He also worked as Operation and Marketing Manager when tourism was still with the government and then with some other leading tour companies in the country. Today, as he surveys the landscapes around him from his office in Thimphu town, he knows there is hardly any place in Bhutan that he has not left his footprints, even on lofty mountains, steep rocks and crevices, dense forests and desolate fields. His is a life long passion. That’s why he is the founder of Happy Bhutan Adventures so that he can continue to be close to where his heart is.

He has traveled widely to south asian countries, Europe and the USA. He speaks 5 different languages like English, Hindi (India), Nepali (Nepal), Dzongkha (Bhutan) & German. Besides Bhutan he leads tours to north-east part of India as well. Being in the trade for last 18 years he is well aware of the the taste of the visitors and can offer the best products from this corner of the world.
